A Little School
With a BIG Heart
Since 1957, Seal Beach Playgroup has given children and families a joyful place to learn, play and grow together. As a parent-participation co-op preschool, our school depends on the time, energy and enthusiasm families bring to the classroom and community. In return, parents have the special opportunity to observe and support their child’s first school experience while building meaningful connections with other families.
Together, we combine play-based learning, caring guidance and active family involvement to create a preschool experience filled with friendship, discovery and happy hearts.

Our Junior Class introduces children to classroom routines, friendships and hands-on learning in a nurturing and playful environment.

Our Senior Class helps children continue growing socially, emotionally and academically as they prepare for their next school experience.

More Than a Preschool
Seal Beach Playgroup is a place where children grow and families form lasting connections.
Because we are a co-op, parents have the special opportunity to participate in their child’s early education, observe their growth and contribute to the community surrounding them.
