Meet Miss Kate
Miss Kate is the Teacher and Director of Seal Beach Playgroup. With more than 14 years of kindergarten teaching experience and a master’s degree in education, she brings knowledge, warmth and a deep commitment to nurturing the whole child.
Through intentional, play-based learning, Miss Kate helps children grow academically, socially and emotionally while building the confidence they need for a joyful transition into elementary school.

Miss Kate’s connection to Seal Beach Playgroup is personal.
All three of her children attended SBPG, giving her a unique understanding of the school from both the teacher and parent perspective.
She is passionate about helping families feel equipped, confident and connected throughout their preschool experience. Her goal is to create a classroom where children feel safe to explore, families feel supported and everyone feels part of the community.
